Working with the Six Tenets of Yoga of Recovery and the Five Pillars of Empowered Living, this is a courageous opportunity to take control of your life one breath at a time while developing an easeful body, peaceful mind, and useful life.
This series is ideal for finding inspiration and encouragement in any life challenge; recovery from addictive behaviors; overcoming feelings of being lost, out of control, or stuck in life; and providing support while developing community.
Drawing from the ancient Eastern wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda combined with modern Western recovery concepts, each week we explore our natural tendencies and implement simple techniques to reduce stress; cultivate balance and relaxation; develop and implement healthful rituals and routines; and practice other helpful coping skills for a holistic approach to healing and recovery.
Each offering begins with a centering and breathing exercise. Check in and discussion follow. Tips and tools are shared and practiced addressing current life trials from a holistic perspective. The offerings end with a guided relaxation designed to connect us with our inner power and inherent deep healing potential!
Examples of topics addressed are low self-esteem/confidence, codependency, fears, compulsive/addictive behaviors, indecisiveness, processing trauma, recognizing triggers, and finding your purpose.
